How to get Shards in DonutSMP

1. Play. Shards trickle in for time spent online anywhere on the server.
2. Eliminate players. Every player you eliminate pays out 10 Shards.
3. Medal clip. Run /medal in-game, then go to medal.tv/donut and claim 5,000 Shards. Be careful: Medal videos are public, so never post a clip that shows your base coordinates.
4. Events. Weekend and seasonal events hand out the biggest Shard rewards for participation and placement.
5. Store. Shard packs are sold on the official DonutSMP store. Only buy from the official site: third-party sellers are against the server rules.

What are shard items?

Shard items are special DonutSMP items that are exclusive to the Shard Shop: you cannot craft them, find them or earn them anywhere else. You buy them from the in-game /shardshop with Shards, the server's second currency. Shards are earned by playing (time online, eliminations, Medal clips and events all pay out), or bought outright on the official DonutSMP store. This site does not track real-money prices, so check the store for those.

Unlike normal items, shard items cannot be buy-ordered. There is no order book for them: the only ways to get one are paying Shards in /shardshop, or buying one that another player has listed on the Auction House. Because of that, AH prices for shard items track what people think the Shards are worth in coins.

Every shard item self-destructs, meaning it is single-use and breaks after you use it, except the Shard Potion of Haste, which keeps its effect running for a full day. Buy a tool right before the job you need it for, and sell spares on the AH before they expire.
