Basalt farm

The basalt farm is still one of the strongest block farms on DonutSMP even after a price cut. Lava flowing onto soul soil next to blue ice makes basalt instantly. The simple generator is cheap and you mine it by hand, the automatic farm uses pistons and hoppers for around 36.5K basalt an hour. Judge it by block rate and the current sell price, not old dollar claims.

How to build it
What you need
- Pistons and observers
Blue Ice
Soul Soil
Lava Bucket- Efficiency V pickaxe for the manual version
- Place lava over soul soil next to blue ice, basalt forms where they meet.
- For the simple generator, mine the basalt yourself with an Efficiency pickaxe.
- For the automatic version, let pistons push basalt into hoppers and just collect.
- Sell to orders or /ah, check the price before scaling.
