Strip mining for diamonds is the method everyone knows, and it still pays on DonutSMP. Mine at Y -54 with a Fortune III pickaxe and branch every third block. Diamonds sell to standing buy orders instantly, and iron, redstone and lapis picked up on the way add on top of the diamond figure the terminal shows. If you have Silk Touch instead, compare with the silk touch ore method, ore blocks often sell for more than the drops.

How to do it
What you need
- Fortune III pickaxe
- Torches or night vision
- Food
- Dig down to Y -54 and start a long straight tunnel.
- Branch every third block to expose the most stone.
- Mine diamonds with Fortune III for extra drops.
- Sell diamonds to orders, and keep the iron, redstone and lapis as a bonus.
