A charcoal farm is not the newest meta on DonutSMP, which is exactly why it is safe. It has kept working through every update. Logs from a tree farm go into furnaces, some of the charcoal fuels the next batch, and the rest is profit. It pairs naturally with any log farm and needs almost no upkeep.

How to build it
What you need
- Furnaces or smokers
- Hoppers
- A log supply, ideally a tree farm
- Feed logs from a tree farm into a line of furnaces.
- Use charcoal itself as the fuel so the loop is self sustaining.
- Collect the charcoal with hoppers into a chest.
- Sell charcoal to orders or on the AH, or use it as fuel. Charcoal blocks are not a vanilla recipe.
